Racing stopped between 1916 and 1918 for the First World War, and there was no racing from 1940 to 1945 as it was used as a military camp for the Second World War. |

Course today | An oval 11 furlong course near to Hampton village. Main stand is at Mansfield Town. A supermarket, primary school and gardens now stand on the racecourse grounds. |
